Gary is an experienced marketing strategist with a focus on social software. His passion is for social media, mobile commerce, online video and social networking technologies, particularly how they help drive value for organizations and individuals. Over the last 15+ years, Gary has assisted large enterprises and small businesses develop and execute on all aspects of marketing, including product management, product marketing, social media, branding and lead generation programs. His expertise is in defining and launching new products or initiatives to market, particularly B2B and B2C applications focused on social software. Gary has worked for Saba Software, Mzinga, Iron Mountain Digital, and has consulted with clients such as Sun Microsystems, Demandware, and Jambok. Gary has lived in Europe and speaks Italian, German and some Spanish. He is also an avid adventure sports athlete and coach, and owns and operates Ascend Sports Conditioning. He also enjoys the commonalities of expression between adventure sports and social technology.
